In this series, I utilize plastic bags as symbols, capturing the dynamic interplay between life and deterioration. Executed on handmade oat paper, each piece originates from an inert plastic entity, resembling a dormant life form. Progressing through a spectrum of transformations, these artworks derive from a purposeful curation of plastic components, emblematic of life’s cyclical nature. Notably, this collection was created in 2020, a period when my artistic focus delved deeply into still life, exploring how form can evoke profound emotion. This intentional choice underscores the transformative potency of art, unveiling concealed narratives within ostensibly ordinary subjects.
